The Aerial Combat Control Center was created in order to statistically track the progress of Virtual Combat Fighter Squadrons flying Jane's Fighters Anthology. In a nut-shell....I am very, very curious to know who the "Top Squadron" is...
I have noticed, from spending time over at both Janes.Combat.Net and MPlayer, that there is a large number of squadrons out there...and I am sure that more than a few boast about their squadron being the best. I know this is true...because I think my squadron (The VFA-81st...plug, plug) is the best; it boils down to a loyalty thing, which in my book is a good and healthy thing.
By using this site to track the wins and losses of engagements between the squadrons, we will finally be able to see who REALLY is the best squadron...and give the Top Dog the bragging rights that it deserves.
DISCLAIMER: I feel it necessary to specify a few things about the ACCC. First and foremost, I am in no way, shape, or form, associated with Jane's Ltd., Jane's Combat, or EA Sports.....It just happens that they created a great flight sim, which is/was a spring-board for this site. Secondly, although I do belong to an online squadron myself, I would like it to be known that my association with them, and The ACCC are two entirely different things. Although it is my wish that they use the site to track our statistics, I in no way will, or have, influenced them to use it; in other words, they (the squadron) decided on it as a whole.
The ACCC and myself will not be held responsible for problems arising from downloading any files that are available from the site. I maintain the latest and greatest from Norton Anti-Virus and will scan each and every file prior to making it available for download. Those files that are found to be infected with a virus will be deleted, and the individual who sent it to me will be notified of the problem. If it becomes a continuing problem, than ACCC will not accept files from said individual.
Furthermore, as stated in the ACCC Participation Info Page, ACCC and I will not be responsible for moderating the message board. Users should be mature enough to refrain from flaming, abusive language, and posting pornography (which will be removed by the way).
