Currently, the Aerial Combat Control Center (ACCC) is in a "Testing Phase" and is only accepting squadrons who fly Jane's Fighters Anthology. If things go well (...and I hope that they do) than this restriction should be lifted -- but it's up to you the users. If the site is used, than all will be well!

The rules for using the ACCC are few and simple. In large, they are not much different that those followed when hosting a simple engagement facilitated by most squadrons.  The only difference is that here, we keep the statistics, so that all may see who truly RULES THE SKIES.

If you and your squadron wish to participate in making this place a success (and I hope you do) than just e-mail me...and that is it.  There is nothing to it at all!   jmBlades@msn.com

Rule of Engagement (ROE) would be no different than what squadrons are already used to. ACCC will merely act as the go-between or messenger for squadrons challenging other squadrons. If the squadrons choose to deal directly with the other squadrons, that is fine as well. All that is required is a courtesy copy of the declaration and stated ROEs. Just keep in mind that challenges, engagements, wins, and losses can't be posted unless we know about them; likewise, those who visit ACCC won't know that your squadron dominates.

For those that do not know, ROEs must include the following information, at the barest minimum:

-Challenger; opponent, mission type (ABA / A2A, etc...) date and time of engagement; and any requirements and/or restrictions placed on game-play.

-ROEs normally require CO concurrence (on both sides) and should be followed up with the number of pilots attending, if known, just prior to fight time.

To make things a little easier, I have created a "Challenge Page" that can be completed and forwarded to me via e-mail (this is the ACCC messenger capacity I mentioned earlier). Upon it's arrival, I will forward it to the specified Point of Contact (POC) listed ... than you just sit back and wait for a response; just remember to keep me in the loop as to status, cancellations, etc...

Challenges, current conflict dates, and conflict outcomes will be posted soon after they are received by me via e-mail. The following will give you an idea as to what information I will require for successfully posting your squadron info:

            Squadron Point of Contact (POC):

-Squadron Name and Nomenclature; Squadron Web-Site (If one is maintained); POC Rank and Name; and POC E-Mail.

            Challenges:

-Opponent POC (Rank and Name); Opponent E-Mail; Date and time of engagement; Region that conflict will take place; and any additional requirements and/or restrictions.

**Responses should be sent directly to the challenger, with a courtesy copy to ACCC.

            Conflict Outcome:

-Challenging squadron is responsible for providing a debriefing screenshot so that the outcome of the conflict can be posted to ACCC. Any other information that CO's and/or POC's feel important may be passed along as well. Please note that I use the debriefing screenshot to build the debrief page....so it's a necessity!

I have found that there needs to be some prescribed solutions to squadron conflicts.  If a challenge is issued and any one of the squadrons (both challenger and opponent) neglects to show up (hence a "no-show"), than the no-show automatically forfeits the campaign.  The results WILL show up on the statistics as a forfeit, and the win will go to the other squadron....as long as they're not a no-show as well.

I feel this is necessary to stave off stagnant squadrons from issuing lots of  challenges and than never following through with them.  When issuing challenges, be sure that you have the pilots available prior to issuance.  However, if something comes up after a challenge has been submitted, and your squadron can't attend -- notify all involved (including ACCC).  If the cancellation is received in a timely manner, than all will be well and it won't count against you.  You can simply reschedule the engagement for a later time!!!

The Point of Contact (POC) listing for the squadrons and their representatives are posted in order to assist with challenges, etc... Be forewarned that if they are abused (i.e. spamming, harassing, etc...) than they will be removed.

If anyone experiences problems or wishes to have your e-mail added, edited, or removed...just let me know!!! I would suggest creating an e-mail account for your squadron (if not already done) at some place like hotmail (www.hotmail.com) rather than using your home account...just be sure to keep it active.

ACCC maintains, or will maintain a message board for use by any and all who wish to post messages. ACCC will not be responsible for the content within, but be forewarned that posts dealing with pornography, etc... will be removed. I like looking at the opposite sex (women) as much as the next guy...but lets keep the board within the context for which it was created!!!

The downloads section is available to anyone who wishes to upload/download it's content. You may post missions, LIB Files, and utilities as room permits. Just zip them up in an e-mail and shoot 'em over to me and I'll get them up for ya. Mission files and campaigns (whether libbed or not) should include some type of briefing.

**If room permits....an I think it will, I eventually want to include a screen-shot area to the downloads. You'll be able to show off your favorite kill shots to the world.

Use the Tips-n-Tricks pages to add ideas and solutions to improve a pilot's skill in flying Fighters Anthology.  Remember; the more skilled the pilots, the more challenging a conflict/campaign will be.

Squadrons and individuals who are found to be cheating, fudging screenshots, etc... will be banned from using the ACCC. It's not fair to those who play by the rules. Besides, it's not fun and it's not challenging. The rewards are greater if you play by the rules!!!

The use of ACCC is absolutely free...unless of course you feel compelled to throw some money my way -- I won't try and stop you.

Last of all! Lets fly and have some fun.

Check your 6!!!!

If there are items that you think need to be mentioned, or you see something that can be improved upon...let me know. Same goes if you have an idea that you think might make the site work better....my e-mail addy is:
